Class of 1978 - Reunion 2008

Nicky Pnematicatos: I can't believe it is 30 years since we were all at school. Time flies. I have not lived in Fish Hoek since 1979 and have lived in the UK since 1981. I have only just found out about the reunion and am sorry I cant make it. It would be great to know what everyone is doing. I have been out of circulation for the past ten years having served in the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force but retired from the Air Force on 3rd March this year and am now vicar of a parish in Hertfordshire near London.

Emile Watson: I don't know if at all Nicky P has been thanked for this rather generous contribution to making the reunion more of a success. So I would then like to thank him and am rather sorry that he cannot make it as he too was a big part of our schooling years. Mike Edwards: A big thank you for inviting me to your reunion. I had a great time seeing all those faces that were in so many ways etched on my memory!! Congratulations to everyone - those who organised and those who attended. I look forward to the next '78 get together whenever it takes place.

Sandy Du Preez: Well, what can I say..... Sounds like we missed a great party...Mr Edwards is raving about what a stunning evening it was. He said everything was great and he enjoyed chatting to everyone and making contact with old teachers and students. He also enjoyed the free drinks..... He asked if you have Melony hopes e-mail address as he would like to drop her a line... Well done to you all.

Nicky P: Dear Andre how wonderful to see all the photos from Saturday night. and to see the lovely Miss Schoon still pretty in old age. I adored her. Glad you had dop or two that would have pleased my Mom and Dad who used to give dop to us kids when the school took a dim view of drinking and smoking what liberated people they were. It would be nice to know where everyone is living etc and what they are doing but I suppose privacy rules makes that impossible. Very very sad to hear Christopher died. Keep in touch Nick xx
